PETG combines the strength of ECO-ABS, some flexibility of Nylon and the easy printability of PLA to make it a great all-around filament. It is also very durable and temperature resistant. It is good for printing mechanical parts and protective components. It is also good for printing large objects since it doesn’t warp much. Printing it at slow speeds (30% - 50% on the 3D45) leads to a shiny, almost transparent surface finish.
For best results use these recommended settings when printing with PETG. If using Dremel brand filament these settings will be applied automatically.
Material properties are important in deciding what material is right for your product. Independent, 3rd party testing has been done to verify the material properties of our PETG so that you can confidently choose the correct material for your next project.
