(7.9 mm) diameter carving bit is made of tungsten carbide and is ideal for removing material from fiberglass, wood, brass, cast iron, plastic, epoxy, rubber, laminates, particleboard, and ceramic tile. For use with all Dremel high-speed rotary tools, the accessories work well for detailed material removal in applications like shaping, carving, engraving, hollowing, grooving, slotting, inlaying, making tapered holes, or freehand routing. The large tapered shape of the carving bit can be used to make cuts in narrow and deep areas. The tip makes v-bottom slots and grooves and can be used to make flat or tapered side cuts.
