    You need:

Next, swap out the cut-off wheel with the 125 High Speed Cutter on to the rotary tool, and cut the vinyl tubing in 2-inch pieces. Bore a hole through one side of the tubing ¾ of an inch from the end of the tube. Repeat until all the tubes have been completed. The holes should be just big enough for the dowel rod to tightly fit into the holes.

    You need:

Insert the 20-inch dowel rods into the vinyl tubing "joints". But be careful! You will need to bend two of the four rods to stretch the outside framework. Secure the crossing of the two dowel rods with tie wraps or wire, as shown. Then, decorate your kite as you prefer. We used spray paint to keep it light and airy. Attach flying line to the middle of the bottom 36-inch dowel rod, and you are ready to fly!
