Let's Get Started
To reduce the risk of injury user must read instruction manuals for all tools used in this project. Wear eye and respiratory protection. Use clamps to support work piece whenever practical.
Begin by going to Dremel3D.com to download the models, from the "Terrarium Project".
Once you have all of the pieces printed, you can start making the terrarium windows by cutting the clear plastic sheets with a box-cutting tool. Tip: Trace the individual 3D printed panels on the plastic sheet to ensure the size of the windows will fit between the 3D printed sides. Once the lines are drawn, continue holding the ruler against the line to keep the lines straight.
Next, draw a thin bead of hot glue along the inside grooves of the frame and gently place the windows into the terrarium window frames.
Now it is time to assemble the terrarium. Start by ensuring the flat side of the bottom support piece is facing down. Then, generously place hot glue on the outside ridges of the bottom support piece. Firmly attach the terrarium's panels onto each side by sticking the panels to the glue on the outside ridges until the terrarium is assembled.
Once the terrarium is assembled, place it on the base at a slight back angle. Finally, add in soil, plants and flowers to complete your personal terrarium!
