Working as an engineering designer, he went on to receive 55 patents for his inventions. He founded Dremel Manufacturing Co. in Racine, Wisconsin in 1932. One of the first products was the Moto-Tool, which evolved into today’s rotary tool. Albert J. Dremel put his heart and soul into the company for more than three decades, and dies on July 18, 1968, leaving behind a legacy that lives on today.
