How to create Halloween candles
You need
  • Pencil
  • Paintbrush
  • Big round white candle
  • Gouache paints

Step 1 4
Draw your design onto the candle with a pencil

Draw your design of witches and pumpkins onto the candle with a pencil, pressing lightly initially and more firmly when you are happy with the design.

Step 2 4
Start to engrave using a Dremel Multi-Tool and engraving bit

Using a Dremel Multi-Tool and engraving cutter 107, engrave the design onto the candle, working slowly and steadily so that the lines are of an even depth.

Step 3 4
Brush the surface of the candle with a soft paintbrush

Brush the surface of the candle with a soft paintbrush to remove any excess wax.

Step 4 4
Painting the eyeball with the soft brush

Paint over the engraved lines using gouache paint and a fine paintbrush.
