Is the DREMEL 4250 compatible with all Dremel accessories and attachments?

Yes, you can use all Dremel Accessories and Attachments.

What is the difference between the Dremel 3000 and 4250?

The Dremel 4250 has more power and performance than the 3000: The 175W motor (Dremel 3000 has 130W) provides a Multi-Tool with maximum power with a fully variable RPM range from 5.000 to 35.000 RPM (Dremel 3000: 10.000 to 33.000RPM). This enables you to tackle the toughest applications like cutting, sanding, drilling and routing. Electronic feedback gives additional power when needed to maintain maximum performance, project after project. Electronic feedback is not available on the Dremel 3000.

Dremel 4250 has an improved airflow for a lower sound.

Dremel 4250 has a separate on/off button, the 3000 does not have that.

Dremel 4250 has Fully variable speed, vs. variable speed for the Dremel 3000.
