Dremel B815-01 & 816-01 batteries are compatible with Dremel 8240, 8250 & 8260 cordless tools. The Dremel B20V20 battery is compatible with the MM20V cordless oscillating multi-tool and the US20V cordless compact saw.

Dremel batteries come partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, we recommend fully charging your battery in the charger before using it with your Dremel tool. It is recommended that batteries be charged in environments where the ambient temperature is above 32 degrees Fahrenheit and below 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, it is recommended to store your Dremel tools and batteries in locations where temperatures will not exceed 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Dremel batteries can only be used in Dremel tools and are specifically designed for select tool models. The 12V MAX batteries (B815-01 & B816-01) are compatible with Dremel 8240, 8250 & 8260 cordless tool models. The 20V MAX battery (B20V20) is designed to be used only with the Dremel US20V and MM20V cordless tool models.

Dremel Batteries are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

Lithium lon batteries must be collected, recycled, or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Dremel batteries carry the EPA certified RBRC battery recycling seal. This indicates that Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is voluntarily participating in an industry program to collect and recycle these batteries at the end of their useful life, when taken out of service in the United States or Canada. The RBRC program provides a convenient alternative to placing used Li-ion batteries into the trash or the municipal waste stream which may be illegal in your area. Please call 1-800-8-BATTERY for information on Lition battery recycling and disposal bans/ restrictions in your area, or return your batteries to a Bosch/Dremel Service center for recycling.
