Step By Step Instructions
Cutting the Wood
Using your pencil and measuring stick, mark the dimensions on the wood for the three pieces: one large shelf for the bottom, a smaller board for the top, and a support piece for the books.
Use the US20V-01 20V Max to cut the wood along the marked lines. Ensure the cuts are straight and clean.
Sand the Edges
Attach your Dremel 407 Sanding Band to the Dremel Rotary Tool and smooth out any rough edges or surfaces.
Assembling the Shelf
Attach your Dremel Dirll Bit to the Dremel Rotary Tool , and drill holes into the wood where the dowels will be inserted. Ensure the holes align perfectly between the pieces. Then apply wood glue into the drilled holes and insert the dowels. Press the pieces together firmly. Finally, use the clamps to hold the pieces in place until the glue dries completely. This ensures a strong and secure bond.
Woodstain
Apply a wood stain of your choice. We've chosen a rich wood color to enhance the natural beauty of the material. Use a brush or cloth to evenly apply the stain, and let it dry thoroughly.
Final Touches
After the stain has dried, your bookshelf is ready to use! The staining adds an elegant touch and highlights the craftsmanship of your work.
Building your own bookshelf not only provides a practical solution for storing books but also adds a personal touch to your home decor. Enjoy your new DIY creation and the satisfaction of having built it yourself!
