How to Make Birch Wood Candle Holders
- DifficultyMedium
Introduction
Create some natural candle holders for your living room out of birch wood and a Dremel rotary tool.
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1
Begin by cutting the birch logs with the Dremel Ultra-Saw™ and wood cutting wheel into the desired quantities and length you prefer.
Step 2
Then, using a drill and spade bit, bore a cavity into the end of each log to hold the tea light candle.
Step 3
After you drill the hole into the logs, clean out the hollow with the Dremel 3000 on high speed and the 114 high speed cutter bit. Use the side of the cutter bit rather than the tip for effective cutting. Add the Dremel Detailer’s Grip for more control while cleaning out the hollow.
Step 4
Insert a tea light into each of the divots cut into the birch wood holders and ensure they sit in the holders securely.
