Step16

Assemble the Drawer and Box

Glue together plywood sheets with Dremel Glue Gun to make a drawer

Start by using the Dremel Glue Gun to stick together ten pre-cut birch plywood sheets. Create an open-top drawer and a box that is open at the front. Make sure everything is aligned correctly.

Step26

Sand the Edges with a Dremel 3000

Use a Dremel 3000 to sand the edges cleanly and carefully

Once the glue is dry, use the Dremel 3000 with sanding bands to carefully sand the edges of both the drawer and the box, ensuring a smooth finish.

Step36

Mark for the Pull Handle

Use a ruler to mark two spots in the middle for the pull handle

Take a ruler and mark two spots in the center of the drawer, 4 inches apart. These will be the locations for attaching the pull cord handle.

Step46

Step 4: Attach the Rope Handle

Using a rope, knot each end and screw to the marked spots

Cut a 10-inch piece of rope and tie a knot at each end. Screw the knots into the marked spots on the drawer. Ensure the screw tips slightly protrude from the opposite side of the plywood.

Step56

Step 5: Cut Off the Screw Ends

Using a Dremel 3000 cut the screw ends with cutting wheel SC456

Using the Dremel 3000 with the EZ SpeedClic SC456 metal cutting wheel, trim the ends of the screws inside the drawer to prevent any sharp edges from sticking out.

Step66

Step 6: Paint the Outer Box

Paint the outer box in your own design

Customize your dog toy by painting the outer box with your desired design. Use eco-friendly acrylic paints to make the box visually appealing and safe for your pet.
