Memories Picture Frame
- DifficultyMedium
Introduction
Throughout the holidays, many memories are created with friends and family. Capture those memories with a photograph and frame to show off in your home.
Step By Step Instructions
Step 1
Create your picture frame design, whether by freehand drawing or searching online. We have supplied ours to print as well. Then spray adhesive onto your pattern and source to your 1/4" wood.
Step 2
Next, drill corners and holes into the perimeter design in the areas that may be tougher to get to with the Moto-Saw.
Step 3
Now cut out the rest of the perimeter design using the Moto-Saw. Optional: Use the Ultra-Saw to cut out the bottom of the frame, or continue using the Moto-Saw.
Step 4
Now you are ready to cut two front-frame pieces with the dimensions 1/4" x 1" x 10" with your Ultra-Saw. Cut two more front-frame pieces with the dimensions 1/4" x 1" x 7 1/2". Then, using a pencil and ruler, draw a 45 degree line at the corners of the four front-frame pieces. Then, continuing to use your Ultra-Saw, cut off the corners of the 4 strips of wood.
Step 5
Paint and decorate the front of the frame and the perimeter pieces to your preference. Glue the four front-frame pieces of wood to the bottom of the frame and press firmly.
Step 6
Next, go to https://3dprinter.dremel.com/3d-printing-model/mem ories-picture-frame-attachment to download the “Memories Picture Frame Attachment” model, or create your own 3D frame attachment. Simply create the model in the color of filament you prefer, or paint the model in a color other than the filament. Finally, glue the model to the front of the frame, add in your photograph and display anywhere in your home.
