Introduction

An easy way to save space in your bathroom is by adding a contemporary bath tissue holder. We picked up a holder from our local home improvement store and with the help of the Dremel Multi-Max MM30 we were done in no time!

Step 1

Measuring and marking the cut-out area

Identify the optimal wall placement for the holder according to your bathroom layout. Per the instructions that came with the holder, we measured and marked our cut-out area. This is where the back mounting plate will fit into.

Step23

Step 2

Cutting out the drywall using the Dremel Multi-Max MM30

Next, we cut out our drywall along the marked line using the NEW Dremel Multi-Max MM30 tool equipped with the MM430 Drywall Jab Saw blade. Mount the MM435 accessory onto your Multi-Max tool. You will note that the tool is set at a slight offset. This is to ensure that you are getting the optimum angle for the best cut. Set your tool to high speed and plunge right in along your mark. Work slowly along your line of cut. The drywall plug may not fall completely out once you have completed your cut, so you may need to pull it out.

Step 3

Completing installation per instructions on the holder

Complete your installation according to the instructions for your particular holder. We set our back mounting plate behind our drywall and secured our front plate into place over the drywall, sandwiching the drywall between the two mounting plates for a secure fit.
