Follow instructions in the manual for inserting & tightening using the collet lock. Choice of accessory will depend on whether you're doing detail work or more general outlining/etching.
Power Access & Setup
Position yourself near an outlet or use an extension cord for extra length to your carving station. Place your pumpkin on a plastic sheet or mat in a well-lit area to get ready to use the tool.
Tool Usage & Speed
Turn on the tool using the power button. Adjust the speed setting to your preference. Consider testing your comfort & control level at each speed on the back of your pumpkin.
Etching & Engraving Your Design
After applying your stencil, begin carving by using light pressure so that the accessory removes the skin. Remember, you're not carving all the way through the pumpkin. You are etching away the skin layer for the light to shine through.
