Step 1 5

Measure and cut the piece

The first thing you will have to do to get your minimalist clock is to cut a piece of wood to the size of the clock you want to get. To do this you can use the Dremel 4250, which will make cutting easier. Make a hole in the centre of the circumference we are going to trace with the help of the 561 twist drill and using the 678 attachment, which will allow you to make a clean and direct cut on the wood. It is advisable to stand on two pieces of wood to lift the material and protect the surface.

Step 2 5

Make the holes for the numbers

Now it's time to make the numbers for our minimalist clock. To do this, use a printed template of the numbers you are going to cut out and transfer them to the wood with the help of a tracing sheet. All you have to do is place the template on top of the tracing paper and run a pencil along the outline of the numbers. Once you have your four numbers drawn, cut out the shape with the Dremel Moto-Saw. With the help of an electric screwdriver, make a central hole to insert the mechanism.

Step 3 5

Sand the workpiece

For a better finish, sand the workpiece with the SC411 sanding disc. When you have worked the edges, insert it also between the numbers to get the corners rounded.

Step 4 5

Decorate as you like

With a little varnish, colour the piece by tapping it with a cloth. Spread the product well so as not to leave any white holes and let it dry for a few hours.

Step 5 5

Attach the hands of the minimalist clock

When the varnish has dried, it's time to insert the clock mechanism into the hole you made earlier. You can also place a socket on the back of the clock that you can use to attach your clock to the wall.
